Project Summary

H&J Martin Fit Out delivered the complete transformation of two floors within a live Grade A office complex to create a new flagship workspace for Allianz Insurance. The fast-track, high-quality programme covered approximately 14,000 m² of premium office accommodation, along with newly constructed WC and shower facilities in the circulation areas.

Despite the challenges of working within an occupied building—with restricted access routes, limited loading/unloading times, and tightly controlled movement through shared spaces—the project was successfully completed on time and within budget. The result is a modern, efficient, and visually impressive office environment tailored to Allianz’s operational needs.

The project combined high-spec fit out works, complex services integration, and meticulous coordination to deliver a fully operational workplace within a tight timeframe.

Mechanical & Electrical

• Full mechanical and electrical installation across two floors.

• Heating, ventilation, and cooling systems designed for staff comfort and energy efficiency.

• Electrical distribution, small power, emergency systems, and integrated lighting solutions.

Flooring Systems

• Raised access computer flooring to accommodate flexible workspace layouts and IT infrastructure.

• Soft floor coverings: Carpet and vinyl selected for durability and acoustic performance.

• Hard floor coverings: Ceramic tiling installed within circulation, welfare, and high-traffic zones.

Specialist Joinery & Finishes

• Bespoke reception desks designed to reflect Allianz’s corporate identity.

• Custom tea stations to support staff welfare.

• Glazed internal partition screens to form private offices and meeting rooms while maximising natural light.

• Specialist door sets, bespoke signage, and premium decorative finishes throughout.

Partitioning & Ceilings

• Plasterboard and metal stud partitions used to define offices, meeting rooms, and breakout spaces.

• Installation of suspended ceilings with integrated lighting and services coordination.

Challenges & Delivery Excellence

Working within a live office environment brought specific logistical challenges:

• Restricted access to the site’s central staircase at all times.

• Tight scheduling windows for loading and unloading materials.
