Project Summary

This project formed part of a wider £15 million upgrade programme to improve the overall passenger experience at George Best Belfast City Airport. The initiative focused on reconfiguring areas of the existing terminal building—both landside and airside—to create a more efficient and welcoming environment.
Key improvements included an upgraded departure lounge featuring enhanced retail, food, and beverage facilities, and the introduction of a new World of Duty Free shopping area. The works were designed to maximise the use of underutilised space at the front of the building while maintaining smooth airport operations throughout construction.
